"Are you sure nobody will find us?" Featherheart whispered worridly, nuzzling into Barkwing's thick pelt, to stay warm. "I'm sure." Barkwing purred back, pausing to look at Featherheart reassuringly. "I love you. " Featherheart sighed. "I love you too." Barkwing purred, and licked her cheek.

"Barkwing," Featherheart said with a strained voice, "I have to tell you something." "What is it?" Barkwing said with a concerned expression. "I'm expecting kits." Featherheart replied, her voice cracking. "What!?" Barkwing said, a look of utter disbelief crossing his handsome face. "I'm expecting kits!" Featherheart repeated, a bit more loudly. "That's wonderful!" Barkwing replied.
