Fireworks: Someone Special - You.

(A Chris and Alito New Year Special.)

The two adventurers - Chris 'Quattro' Fuschia and Alito 'Ventus' Gnade - and Directors of the famous idol group Muse were facing on top a balcony in the Adventurer Guild's second floor.

The balcony faced a huge, wide sandy field where it stretched across the horizon.

The skies slowly turned into a wonderful cocktail of light blue, dark blue, and shades of orange like beautiful flaming tongues.

Gentle breeze caressed the two lovers' face, their hair flowed along with the smooth currents; their smooth, silky dresses began flowing along the breeze while it too, soothed their beating hearts.

"Hey Chris..."

"Yes dear?"

"It's surreal...isn't it? Nine years...nine years it has been and our love still goes on strong." Alito replied softly.

A small smile crept across Chris's face as she gazed upon the lush, green plains with flowers decorating the scenery and a water fountain upon its center.

"Yeah," the Maiden of Absolution replied and sighed wistfully. "Even I could not believe it either...and yet it happened. But you know what? I'm glad that I'm a part of it; I'm glad that I am alive to feel that warmth - being with you."

"It sure is a mystery...right? I believe in it; you believe in it; we all believe in it - that warmth upon our chest. Yet we cannot seem to explain what we're feeling..." Alito sighed lovingly.

As the skies became darker and darker; as the time flowed like an endless river of water towards the end of the year, Chris and Alito noticed that the day was fast approaching midnight - the countdown had begun veering towards the last thirty seconds...

"The fireworks that Team Muse, AKB0048, and 765 planned...Chris, will we be able to see them?" Alito wondered.

"We haven't seen them yet..." Chris sighed and slowly broke into a soft smile. "But I for sure know that the fireworks parade will be the most memorable one..."

Alito tilted her head, wondering why her wife would reckon that way...

Ten seconds left...

"Because...because I will be watching them with the most important person in the world." Chris then turned to face what she reckoned was the greatest person in the whole wide world - Alito...

2014...

"I watched them with you..."

Alito's eyes widened in surprise, but her eyes drooped down in a loving manner shortly after. She could feel her heart singing her adoration towards Chris. Her lips soon broke into a loving, wistful smile.

A warm aura encased the two lovebirds as they leaned close to each other; their arms locked around each other's waist in a warm, tight embrace as Alito rest her head upon Chris's chest. A flush of red surfaced upon their rosy cheeks as they heard each other's heartbeat and breathing synchronized as one, smooth, hypnotic beat.

As the fireworks began decorating the night skies with a colourful display of mini-explosions, Chris and Alito's lips met in a deep, sensual kiss. Their spines tingled with happiness, warmth, and an undeniable surge of ecstasy.

With a new year, it will usher in more possibilities, new challenges to face, more adventurers to venture about, and a new day to welcome with open arms.

"I love you, forever and ever..."

Meanwhile...

"Honoka...Honoka? HONOKA! Stop sleeping! OI! Ah...blast it..." Umi Sonoda facepalmed after she saw Honoka sleeping dreamily in the grassy plains where the idols prepared their fireworkers.

"Great. What a fine time to be falling asleep when we still have a last batch of fireworks to be released!" Eri shook her head and shrugged.
