Konoha Feelings

The drizzle reflected Tarsha's mood as he lept from rooftop to rooftop, looking for the correct alley.

As he landed on Kitsune's roof, he spotted the young genin silently waiting, he already aware of Tarsha's presence. Tarsha silently descended into the muggy alley below.

"Hope you didn't have trouble finding the place."

"Don't worry, it was easy to find with Tokio Hotel blaring from Kitsune's place."

Tarsha eyed Nikki's slender figure, then stared into his eyes for seemed like an eternity.

"Sooo...What did you need me for?"

The words echoed through Tarsha's heart, but wrong in his thoughts, as he summed up the courage to speak.

"Nikki, do you know why I stand by you?"

Nikki froze, but his heart was heated.

"Because you stood by me. When everyone else drifted away, you still stood by me."

Tarsha subtley edged towards Nikki.

"Remember that day in class when I was last one there, and the only seat left was in the back? You moved your seat next to mine and told me a joke to make me smile...'Smile if your horny' To anyone else, it was derogatory, but it was just semi-innocent fun us."

Nikki's brown hair somehow shined in the morning rays of light.

"You were the only one who saw me for what I am, not who I appeared to be."

Tarsha was begginning to get even more nervous than usual.

"I can't stand the fear That I'll lose my self again. I can't stand the fear that everyone will fade into memory...but my biggest fear is..."

Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked towards the grounds.

"And whats the biggest fear?" Nikki innocently queried.

"Its...the chance that I might never see you again. The thought that we might be seperated forever. Its the thought of being without you."

They both realized they were face to face, feeling the warmth off of each other.

"Tarsha....I-"

"Nikki...."

They both embraced each other, hoping the bond they formed would never fade, never break, and never die.
