Chichi pours wine, old wine, into the wine glasses. "Happy anniversary Goku." She says, handing him the glass. They make a toast and drink.
She leans over to give him a kiss just as he does the same. Their mouths met.
Chichi knows that something was on his mind. She decides not to pester him, he would tell her when he decided too.
Goku clears his throat. He turns to Chichi. He says "I've never built you a mansion on a hill or warmed you in the Spanish sun. I simply blink my eye and think as years fly by of all the things we've never done."
Chichi smiles and takes his hand in hers. And says "It just occurred to me now the thought that brings you such regret what hasn't happened yet. It makes me proud." Goku looks confused. "You never walked away when I needed you to stay or made me feel I'm not the one. There've never been no broken vows. And the reason we're here now is all the things we've never done. We've never grown apart. You never broke my heart with secrets that you've kept from me. We've never been untrue and I'm still here with you through all the things we've never done."
Goku smiles, understanding. Chichi suddenly picks up the wine glasses and starts to fill them. Then she hands one to Goku. "My toast is, good luck for tomorrow and may everyone come back safely." Goku drinks to that, but his eyes look haunted.
Chichi picks up on it. "You plan on dying there, aren't you?" Goku sighs.
"If all goes well I won't. "He looks at Chichi. "Let's not worry about it. We still have tonight. Lets not waste it." Chichi gets the meaning and goes into the bedroom. Goku follows.
The next morning, Goku and Gohan fly off. Chichi calls after them "I'll be waiting. Good luck at the Cell Games." She turns back into the house.
