Tulips

I walked across the field to my idiot teammate, Uzumaki Naruto. It was a fine spring day and all the brightly colored tulips were in bloom. The sun was high in the blue, puffy cloud sky. The air smelled of flowers and life. All in all, it was a beautiful day.
"Hey teme, come watch clouds with me." Naruto called to me from where he was laying in the soft grass. "see this one looks like you, teme!" he said teasingly pointing to a fluffly cloud shaped like a human head with little spikes on the back of the head.
"hn. It's not nearly as attractive." I said haughtily sticking my chest out. Naruto poked me in the stomache.
"I wouldn't sound so proud if my head looked like a duck's ass." Naruto laughed. I pouted.
"does not." I fumed.
'Does too!" he picked a one of the natural spikes. I swatted his hand away.
"Dobe." I shot him a look of hatred. I didn't really mean in it. I loved my dobe. I had always had and always will. No matter what.
"Teme!" narut shot back.
"blondie." I said.
"bastard." Naruto looked slightly aggravated but I thought nothing of it and kept on firing.
"I don't even see why anyone likes you. You're so annoying! I can't stand you!" I suddenly yelled. I hadn't meant to. I would never purposely explode like I just did.
"W-what?" he stuttered, tears threating to fall from his eyes.
"Wait Naruto! I didn't mean to say that! I'm sorry!" I yelled but it was too late he had already stood up and was running in the opposite direction. I got up quickl and ran after him. He didn't stop to let me catch up, but I wasn't surprised since I was what he was running from.
"Sasuke just leave me alone!" he yelled, suddenly turning to face me.
"why? I came to apologize." I explained.
"well I don't want your stupid apologies!" he yelled, tears now streaking his face.
"Well I don't care. I came to apologize and that is what I'm going to do!" I started to raise my voice. Naruto brought out the worst in me. "I'm sorry I said those things." I apologized.
"Why would you say them?" naruto asked, his pain was obvious in his voice and eyes.
"Because I was beng stupid and anger blinded me." I explained calmly.
"Apology not accepted." He pouted turning away from me.
"What can I do to be forgiven?" I asked. I didn't want my dobe to hate me.
"show me you mean it." Was all he said, and it was so quiet I almost didn't hear the next part, "Sasuke, do you love me?" he whispered.
"of course I love you naruto! Why else would I chase you down into a fucking forest for kamis sake?" I asked a little irritated. Naruto turned and lunged into my arms. When he finally dug his head out of my chest I leaned down and kissed him gently. He smiled.
"I love you sasuke." He whispered.
"I love you too." I breathed into his blonde spikes.
