"It's weightlessness training, Daniel."
"Weightlessness," said Daniel, tunelessly as he buckled his seatbelts in the all but emptied out hold of a 747 that had been fitted out with heavy padding instead of the usual rows of seating. He was more than a little annoyed at having being dragged out of his office when he'd been right in the middle of an important translation for yet another training exercise.
"Yup," said Jack with a rather large grin.
"The point being?" said Daniel through slightly gritted teeth.
"That we at times may experience weightlessness," said Teal'c, helpfully.
Daniel had to fight back the nasty glare he wanted to give the Jaffa.
"It's actually a lot of fun," added Captain – Doctor Carter, helpfully as the plane started taxiing down the runway.
"Not if you have my stomach," said Daniel seriously.
Jack's grin faded a little.
"I tend to throw up on bumpy rides, Jack. Trains are painful, let alone San Francisco cabs. Don't even get me started on boats and I throw up just watching rollercoasters – I don't even have to get on one for that to happen."
Jack's grin had vanished. "Well then, it's a good thing it's only 07 hundred in the morning. That's …"
"I know it's 7am, Jack. I've been working on the translations for Feretti's team and dropped in early for breakfast this morning."
Jack's face was beginning to look grim.
"Would you like to know what I had for breakfast, Jack?"
