The two of them were in charge of shopping.

Inoue-san had volunteered to do it herself, probably under the impression that she would trouble someone if they came with her, but the sky outside was getting dark and no one felt incredibly good about sending her out alone; especially to a not-so-secure neighborhood.

Perhaps it was the face that Inoue-san made when they said that she couldn't go alone, and wouldn't be able to go at all if someone didn't join her, that had Uryuu spurred into action.

He had never liked seeing such a disappointed expression pass over her sweet features and he certainly wouldn't like it any better now.

"I'll go with her!" His voice was loud enough that it echoed all throughout the room and everyone in close range jumped out of their seats.

Everyone but Inoue-san whose mouth was beginning to blossom into a wide smile, dimples and all.

He thought of that smile as he walked beside her, purposely slowing his pace so that she wouldn't be left behind by his long strides.

"We should explore," she had suggested in the beginning and that's what they had done for the past twenty minutes.

Uryuu wouldn't complain. He enjoyed every minute he got to spend with her. His face a bit red from the hand brushing against his, Uryuu cleared his throat and pointed. "Um, Inoue-san….why don't we go in there?"

It was the most popular sewing material shop. Most of the supplies they got for their club was available there, and products were quite cheap.
Uryuu thought Inoue-san would like it.

He guessed right, he thought triumphantly, when she clapped her hands happily and darted into the store.

She passed by the needles and colored thread quickly, as he had expected her to. From what Uryuu had observed in the club, Inoue-san had a soft spot for fabrics; she loved experimenting with different ones, to get the different feeling that each exuded, and see the different expressions on those that she gave her knitted gifts to.

It was being able to catch that very expression that had Uryuu smiling himself, glad that he had accompanied her, as he hurried to join her on her fabric hunt.
