Remus woke up with a start. He looked around his room, he could hear mumbling coming from James, the snoring from Peter and the soft breathing of Sirius. He smiled, it was just a dream, although he had wished it wasn't, it was one of those dreams again. He sighed and pulled the bed curtains away, got up and walked down to the common room, but not before glancing quickly at Sirius, how could his hair look perfect, even when he was asleep? He smiled and walked down the steps. He knew it was wrong of him to think like that, but he couldn't help it. Three months ago he never looked at Sirius like that, or even thought of him in that way, well he had, but he never admitted it to himself. Why did he have to do it? It's all Sirius' fault! He sat down in the armchair by the fire and sighed, thinking about this dream, him and Sirius, together. He heard some footsteps and turned round to see Sirius standing there, he looked so good in his pyjama bottoms, his body glistening with the moon coming through the window. Sirius walked slowly towards Remus until their noses were nearly touching. Suddenly Sirius' soft lips were on his, Remus kissed him back, his lips felt so good and natural against his own, they moved in unison and send shivers down Remus' back. Before he knew it Sirius was laying on top of him on the sofa, kissing him passionately. Was he dreaming again? This didn't feel like a dream, Sirius moved his lips down to Remus' neck and started sucking, Remus let out a small moan and he could feel Sirius smile. How could this be happening? Sirius moved back up to Remus' lips and kissed him again, before slowly getting up and leading Remus out the door, their hands intertwined. They made their way to the heads room, Lily and James were sleeping in their old rooms in the Gryffindor common room, so it was empty. As they walked through the door Remus let out a chuckle, he looked at Sirius, and smiled, he was so lucky. He kissed him again and Sirius pulled away as the gasped for breath.
'Hey Moony' Breathed Sirius
'Yeah Padfoot'
'I love you'
Remus smiled at him.
'I love you too'
And with that they lost themselves in each other, not noticing that Lily was sitting at the top of her dormitory stairs, smiling to herself, and not noticing that James had quietly witnessed their kiss in the common room, happy that they had finally found each other.
