Avatar: A Lost Prophecy

Chapter 1
The Spirit World
I remember the first time I entered the spirit world. It was before I remember being in the real world. I know I wasn't really myself at the time, because when I looked down, I saw nothing but empty space.
A loud noise was coming toward me, I turned around and saw a man, staring straight into my face and laughing. When I turned back to face a large tree, I saw he wasn't laughing at me, but at four floating spirits frozen as if time had stopped.
The first spirit was a boy looking about the age of thirteen. He had short, scraggly dark hair, and dark tan skin. His eyes were a deep blue, and he had a symbol tattooed on his cheek. He wore a blue cloak that stopped about his ankles, the same color as his eyes, a hood lined with soft furs, and a headband, that tied in the back, as the long strings hung down past his feet.
The second spirit was also a boy, he seemed about fifteen. He had long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail. He seemed to have a mischievous look on his face, with a sleeveless green and gold tunic with shorts, and bare feet with rough calluses.
The third spirit was a girl about sixteen with silky long dark hair that went past her hips, and wore a long red dress that covered her feet. It had patterns imprinted in the silk, and there was a gold silk dragon that wrapped around the dress.
The last spirit was a girl that appeared about the age of nine. Here hair was pulled back into two short pigtails that revealed a blue symbol on her forehead. She wore a white shirt and a short skirt with puffy pants that came to about her ankles, and she wore silk slippers.
Suddenly the spirits disappeared. I turned back around. The man had stopped laughing and had four glowing lights swirling in his hand; one blue, one green, one red, and one white.
He then spoke: "Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. Such strong spirits you have always been. But now, now I will master all four elements. You have been defeated, and the world will collapse under my power!"
His eyes glowed and the light died out. He started laughing again.
The scene crumbled. It was foggy now, and I couldn't see very much. A woman emerged from the fog. She had a blue arrow tattooed on her forehead, and wore an orange and yellow cloak.
"Let them go Xo. You will never be known as a powerful bender, only as the man who sleighed the spirits of the four elements, and brought chaos to society."
"Oh Tao, you won't have to worry about it. YOU WILL BE DEAD BY THE TIME I AM THRU WITH YOU!"
A bright light emerged from the man's hand that blasted toward the woman, as she shot a strong counter attack back at him.
There was no struggle. Both people had disappeared.
The four lights appeared again as the rose from the man and each went a different dirsction
At that moment, the door to the spirit world had been opened, the Avatar had been killed, the element spirits had left the spirit world, to inhabit a human form.
At that moment, I, the new Avatar, had been born.
To explain this just a little bit more, even though the spirits will be in a human form, they won't remember anything about the past, just as if they had been reborn then. I probably lost most of you when I started writing………
