"That's all it said", Lily tired of telling this to her dear friend Mary.

"Are you sure? There's not a secret writing or like a secret code. He's a marauder after all" said Mary with a worried look.

Lily who was sitting on her bed re-reading the letter for the hundredth time looked at Mary. " Are you going to go?" asked Mary. Lily didn't say anything, she stood up and went to the window by her bed. She has a wonderful view of the Forbidden Forest and the Quidditch FIeld. She looked down at the paper, a small smile grew on her face.

" Yes."

"Ready Prongs?" asked Sirius with a mischievous look on his face. " I think so." James looked around him, everything was perfect, now he wondered if she was going to show up.

James began to feel like a fool. He knew he was a prick but she had changed him. He had become a better person because of her. Now he wanted to show her how much she meant to him.

James was beginning to walk away, when from the shadows appeared Lily. She didn't say anything. James reached out his hand, she took it.

On the ground beside James was a broomstick. He grabbed it and got on it, he gave her a small smile. She got on it. He flew up into the sky, a little fast since Lily grabbed his waist.

Fireworks rang out. James stopped in mid-flight, he turned around to see Lily's glowing face. He turned back to enjoy the spectacular firework show produced by the marauders.

Boom..both Lily and James turned their heads to see black smoke coming out of one storage rooms that kept the Quidditch equipment. Sirius popped out coughing and covered in black smoke followed by a worried looking Remus.

James began to laugh which caused Lily to start laughing. Sirius and Remus didn't look to amused. " What happened?" asked James after he managed to stop laughing. Remus looked at Sirius. "Well, this idiot decided to make a spell to create God knows what and well..it backfired." "It was going to be a heart that said James and Lily, but Moony here pushed me and I hit the wrong object" Sirius tried to explain.

Lily took out her wand and said a simple incantation that left them clean. James turned to Lily, he cupped her face in his hands and was about to kiss her, when...
