So here's what's up:
So I've been dealing with a horrendous snap of writer's block as of late. In hopes of getting over my writer's block, I put my iPod on shuffle and wrote stories about the first ten songs that played. I wasn't planning on uploading any of them, however this one was a gem in the rough.
Here's what I need from you:
So, I've decided that this little snippet has a lot of potential for a whole story. So I decided to post this little snippet. I need your opinions: do I expand on this little idea and turn it into a whole story? Or so I just abandon it? I need your opinions.

Agent Timothy McGee sat at his desk looking either sad or pensive. His normally bright green eyes were down cast and stormy. He glanced out at the rain that fell from the sky in buckets and plitter plattered against the windows like a symphony of angel's tears. He fingered at the hospital band around his wrist absentmindedly. The diagnosis wasn't a death-sentence, but it was scary.
The elevator's bell sounded from across the room, snapping McGee out of his thoughts. He pulled his sleeve over the band and stared at the computer pretending to do work. Tony and Ziva exited the elevator and rounded the corner, chatting excitedly. "We brought you a burger, McWorkerBee," DiNozzo grinned and tossed a carefully wrapped sandwich across the bullpen.
McGee stared at the burger wordlessly, his stomach cramping in protest at the idea of having to eat anything.
"Are you alright, McGee?" Ziva asked, softly.
McGee frowned. It took longer than it should've to understand what she was saying. It was as though she was talking in a language that he had long since forgotten. He gulped helplessly and attempted to formulate a response. "Fine. Just not hungry,"
DiNozzo shrugged and snatched the burger back from McGee's desk. "Suit yourself," he said and sauntered away, happily munching on the burger.
McGee was left to sit at his desk, soundlessly contemplating his future as he stared at his hospital band.
