Chapter 1
All the rangers were at root core with Clare, Udonna, and Leanbow.
Xander walked up to Clare. "Hey Clare."
"Oh hey Xander. What's up?
"Nothing what about you?
"I'm fine thanks."
" Well I was wondering…" he said trailing off.
" What?" she said while shaking her long blonde hair.
" Do you…mind… getting me some stickle berries?
" Oh" she said disappointingly. " Sure."
" Well thanks."
When she was gone he hit himself on the head with a book. Why can't you just tell her?
" Having girl troubles" asked Nick.
" Why would you say that?
" Because it looked like you just tried to ask my cousin out."
" I have no feelings towards Clare. She's just my friend." 'I wish she was more that a friend' he thought.
" Are you sure" asked Nick not entirely convinced.
" Of course" said Xander.
" Okay. I believe you. Now if you'll excuse me I have a date with Maddie."
" Okay see you later dude."
In the forest with Clare.
" I can't believe I thought he liked me. He'll never like anyone like me. I'm just a bubbling sorceress. I guess we'll never be together." She sighed.
