It was an ordinary day in London, a sunny Saturday morning in the end of April. Flowers were blooming and it was warmer then usual outside, but that was nothing for the people in London, they still had work and duties to do. For most people, nothing special happened that day, but the married couple Rose and Scorpius Malfoy wasn't like most people either.
They were special. Not many people knew it but the husband and wife was also a witch and a wizard and they also ended a few generations old family feud by getting married. What made the day special for them was simple, Rose was almost nine months pregnant and every day seamed more and more special as the birth came closer. Many of their relatives (especially Rose's father) thought that the baby would be a boy, but Rose had a feeling that she would get a girl. As she talked to her husband thinking about baby names.
"I like the names David and Elvin for a boy, and you?", asked Scorpius.
"I think I like the name William, and I want to name the baby after some of our relatives too, like William David Ronald or David William Draco", she said.
"I like the idea, and those names Rose, I love them. That's what I want the baby to be names if it's a boy", he said. Rose nodded as she liked the idea too.
"Which one?", Rose asked.
"I don't know, what about William David Ronald if it's a redhead and David William Draco it it's a blonde baby?". Rose nodded.
"I like that. What names do you like for a girl?".
"I don't know, but if it's a redhead I want to name her Rose", he said.
"Wouldn't it be a little strange to have to Rose in the family?", Rose asked.
"Not at all, that's why her nickname would be Rosie", he said.
"I'll consider that, but I like the name Felicity", she said and she could feel the baby kick. Now she was sure, it was going to be a girl. She quickly took Scorpius' hand in hers and let him touch her growing belly. He smiled at her and said with a low but excited voice;
"That's our baby". Rose nodded and smiled back at the love of her life.
"I think she likes your voice. Every time you talk, she starts to kick", she said and sighed. She loved that feeling.
"That baby is a miracle, and I want to ask you, why do you call our baby a she? Do you know that's it's a girl?". Rose shook her head.
"No, I don't know, but my heart that we're having a girl. It's a strange feeling I can't explain", she said and Scorpius nodded before kissing her cheek.
"You've been kissing me a lot lately. Is something on your mind?", Rose asked and Scorpius shook his head.
"Not at all dear. It's just the feeling, you're having a baby and it's unbelievable. Sometimes, I still don't understand that this is reality, and when I do, I want to spend as much time with you as possible to make you feel loved, you're caring our baby after all", he said."
"Oh Scorpius, you're so sweet, but you're talking like if I'm going to die soon, and I can safely announce that I won't. We'll stay together and raise our children together, and nothing is going to stop us".
That was what she thought.
