"Hey leave the smart aleck comments to me! Let's start from the beginning of my story first!"
"Where's the beginning?"
"I don't know, I can't remember! Uh, start from the hospital?"
"Okay…Fine."
Rydder woke up and heard his brother crying in the other room. "Darien?" He started to get out of his bed when he felt a sharp pain in his leg. "O-Ow..." He looked down to see that his leg was in a cast and that made him panic as the doctors walked in. "Where am!?"
"You are in the hospital." The doctor said as he noticed the panic look on Rydder's face. "You can hear your brother can't you?" Rydder looked towards the door. "Why is he crying?" The doctor spent a while to check on Rydder's cuts, bruises, and broken leg before finally telling Rydder why. "You, your brother, and your parents were in a terrible wreck." The doctor paused and took a deep breath. "Sadly your parents, they didn't make it, we did everything we could." The doctor left the room as Rydder burst into tears which caused the pain in his leg to increase. "I'm all alone now…"
*Years later*
Rydder was walking to meet up with his brother when someone bumped into him. "Just what I needed, something else to make me late!" Darien sighed to himself as he quickly got up and looked down upon the girl. "Think you can watch where you're going" Rydder paused and looked at her hair and noticed that it looked like carrots. "Think you can watch where you're going carrot-top." The girl looked up at him and whinned. "For your information my name is Phoenyx!" The girl got up straightened her outfit and rushed off. "She was kind of cute." Rydder thought as she ran off.
