Katnis was the winer of the games and then she and Pita were going back to district 12. She was so sad. Because nothing had really changed. There was always this sad feeling in her heart even before she had competed in the games. They had gone back to district 12 in a really awesome red BMW with an open top because the game makers wanted them to look like celebrities (because they were obviously after what had happened in the games).
Then she got home. She and Pita promised to see each other soon but Katnis wanted to go see Prim Rose right away. When she saw Prim Rose Prim Rose was a lot bigger and she seemed to have totally grown up.
"Hello Sister"
"Hello back." Katniss nearly cried at hoe much she had missed while she was on TV trying to save her own life and also Pita's life.
There was a really peacefull look on Prim Rose's face. She wore a long, full white, skirt with little edges of Batinberg lace and a beautiful flowy pink top with roses embroidered on the edges with sequins and pearls mixed into it, and her blond hair was in long braids down her back with little blue roses woven into it. Katniss wanted to look like that - elegant and lady like.
"Are you okay? You look so diffrent. And where did you get these clothes?"
"Oh Sister. I have found out a secret." She sighed deeply and shut her eyes. "It has completely changed my life. I have completely changed my friends, my way of living, and my focus. I am so happy."
"Whoa! What is it?"
Prim Rose looked worriedly around as if searching for someone who might be overhearing their conversation but they were in the middle of a forest so there was nobody around to overhear their conversation.
"It is revolutionary Katniss. It is something you have to keep secret. Otherwise... we are in grave danger!"
Katniss felt really scared for a minute but then nodded. Prim Rose reached into her pokets and brought out a tiny book. It was covered in smooth, buttery white leather and had shiny silver writing on the cover.
"Nobody can ever know you have this, Katnis. If you don't agree with it - well, I am sorry for you, for one - but most important, you cannot tell anyone you read it. You must re turn the book to me and never speak of it again! ! Ok?"
Katnis knew al about secrets. She knew all about being stealthy! That is how she became the greatest hero of the games, right? She held the book for a minute as Prim Rose turned and hurried away. Then she looked down at the cover of the book and read the golden title.
