"Please, Sammy. You gotta help me out."

"This is me helping you out, Dean."

Exasperation and nothing short of annoyance colored the youngest Winchester's impatient sigh. Dean pounded desperately at the door between them for what must've been the hundredth time that night.

"I need it, Sammy..."

Sam pinched his nose, offended by the whingeing pitch his brother's voice had taken.

"No, you don't, Dean. I'm not gonna let you kill yourself!"

"I won't!... Just a little bit more, Sam, and I'll stop. I promise..."

The wooden barrier rattled once again.

"Yeah, right! That's what every addict says. And I'm guessing your fifteen plus pounds is just a coincidence?... You can forget it, Dean!"

"Come on! A little chocolate cake never hurt anybody!"

"Tell that to Mrs. Himmler!"

...

A/N: Why did it take Sam so long to finally confront his brother's out-of-character behavior? Only my inner brain knows.
