When I saw Ryan and Espo fighting I didn't like it at all. They're like brothers and they shouldn't not be talking (Hope that made sense :)). So this is what I've done to fix it.

Enjoy :)

"Javi, he did what he thought was right." It was the morning after the night before, and Beckett was on the phone to one pissed Esposito.

"I know Beckett but we agreed to keep Gates out of it."

"I know we did, but if he hadn't told Gates, I would be dead. Forgive him and move on, you two are too good friends to let this affect you too long. If Castle and I can get over the lies and deceit so can you." She finished speaking and hung up, not waiting for a reply.

Esposito looked at his phone for a moment then sighed, Beckett was right, and he knew that, but he still felt betrayed and because of Ryan he was suspended and Beckett had resigned. He angrily threw his phone across the room, and watched as it bounced off the back of the sofa and came to rest on the floor.

He stood there for a moment, still angry, before going and working out some of his anger on the punch bag that hung in his room. Ten minutes later, he still felt angry but he knew what he had to do. He went back into the lounge and picked up his phone. Pressing two on his speed dial he flopped down on his sofa and waited for Ryan to pick up. Esposito heard the line connect and before Ryan could say anything said in an angry tone, "We need to talk."

"Yeah," Ryan said, "Can I come over in a bit?"

"Fine," Esposito snapped.

"See you in a half hour," Ryan said before hanging up.

Esposito dropped his phone onto the table and then spent the next thirty minutes staring up at the ceiling.

When he heard the knock at his door he got up and opened it to see a nervous looking Ryan standing in the hallway, looking at his feet.

"I know you're pissed, and you have every right to be but I stand by my decision and if it happened again I would make the same one," he said, not looking up from his feet.

"You're right, I'm pissed Ryan," he stopped talking and took a deep breath to calm himself before continuing, "But you were right, if you hadn't told Gates, Beckett would have fallen of that roof and her and Castle would still be on the outs."

Ryan looked up at that, "Beckett and Castle?"

Esposito thought for a moment, wondering if he should just keep this to himself out of spite, then he remembered what Beckett had said. "She didn't say much, just said if they could get over whatever was wrong between them we could get over this, which I think means her and Castle might have finally bitten the bullet so to speak," he paused then smiled, looking like the Espo Ryan was used to again, "I also heard him in the background say something and I swear she smothered a giggle."

Ryan smiled again, "I am sorry Javi."

Espo shrugged, "So am I, Kevin, so am I."

"We're best friends Espo. I trust you with my life and we can't be arguing when there is someone out there that wants to kill Beckett, especially now that she's resigned."

"She'll be back soon enough Ryan, Gates face was not pretty when Beckett told her to keep her badge and gun, when Beckett gets over it she'll be back and asking to be reinstated and Gates won't say no and until that time we'll have her back and we'll have each other's too," Esposito said, opening the door further and letting Ryan walk in.

He went to the fridge and pulled out two bottles of beer. After handing one to Ryan he sat on the sofa.

"So friends?" Ryan asked, sitting next to him.

"Friends," Esposito answered, taking swig from his bottle.

"We're so much better at making up then Beckett and Castle," Ryan said smiling, as he copied Esposito's movement.

"Yep," Esposito smiled, "That we are."
