After all is said and done

Hope you like the story!

"Vanessa Cleveland, do you take this man to be your husband?" the minister asked.

"I do." Vanessa replied, looking into her soon-to-be husband's eyes.

"Michael Saratoga, do you take this woman to be your wife?"

"I do." Michael responded, looking back at his wife.

"You many now kiss the bride," The minister told him, smiling.

That was 2 years ago, and now, Vanessa had a job at a newspaper, and Michael was in a famous rock band, called Acceptance (a/n: anyone know the band?).

Vanessa came home early from work on their 2nd wedding anniversary, and was going to surprise him and cook him a beautiful dinner.

I thought that you were working late,

But that was when I made my first mistake.

As you walked into the hall

And saw the clothes upon the floor,

It was too late.

Vanessa had just set her purse down when she noticed that there was a handbag on the table. She walked towards it and picked up, hoping it was just a present from her husband. It wasn't. Inside, was a wallet, make-up, and car keys.

She set it back down on the coffee table and walked towards their bedroom. She was terrified to open the door. Terrified of what exactly it was that she'd find.

She said she didn't understand.

And as she cried,

She took the ring from off her hand.

Then I knew that it was over,

As she turned to me and said,

'our love is dead'.

Vanessa cautiously opened the door and sure enough, Michael was there. But he had some blonde Barbie with him. Vanessa walked across the room quickly and slapped him.

He ran after her when she tore from the room. Vanessa quickly grabbed her purse and flung her wedding at him. He looked down as the ring clattered to the floor, ashamed.

"I can't believe you would do this. You're famous, so know it's okay!" She yelled at him as she stood next to the door, tugging on her coat.

Michael didn't say a word. Just looked at the ring that was laying on the floor. Vanessa shook her head, as the tears began to overflow.

After all is said and done,

Know I'm not the only one,

To of had it all

And thrown it all away.

All alone under the sun
Baby come tomorrow
Are we moving on?

She stormed out of the door, slamming it hard behind her. She leaned against it, whispering, Good-bye Michael.

And after all was said and done, she moved on.

The song is After all is said and done, by BBMak. Not the normal story I write, but oh well. And I just copied the lyrics while listening to them again, so they might be a little off. Oh well. Please review!
