Altair was born sometime in 1168 A.D.,to a Christian mother and a Muslim father. Altair was their first and only child. His father was once a former fighter of the Second Crusade, and wanted his son to follow in his footsteps if needed. His mother was less accepted of the idea though, but she knew that she could not stop Altair form doing it. She did teach him an important lesson, to see how actions could effect the future. She taught him about mercy and to take care of the weak, so that one day you might be awarded. His parents were an inspiration to Altair, knowing that they both had different beliefs and values, but still could love each other. From that he knew, Christians and Muslims could get along, and that they are more alike than different. Altair however, was given a choice by both of his parents to be a Muslim or a Christian, and that they both would accept his choice. Altair decided to become a Muslim. In 1175, his mother was pregnant again with the couple's second child. However, she suffered a miscarriage. She was never the same after the miscarriage. She got through it, with the help of her husband and Altair. Two years later, Altair started to learn how to fight by his father. Altair was quick to learn tactics and skills. For eight years, he practiced and improved each and every day. Altair was now a young man, however his life was to be effected forever. The Third Crusade was about to begin, and it would effect his life forever. Altair then started to hear reports over the Crusader's cruelness, but he heard bad reports on both sides though. Altair heard a rumor about a secret sect, that opposes both sides and wanted to end the Crusades once and for all. He then rode to their secret base, however on the way, a Saracen soldier attacked him. Altair quickly got out his sword and stab the Saracen right in the heart. The Saracen soldier had pain in his eyes unlike none Altair had seen before, and then they just stayed motionless. He was dead. Altair then saw a shadowy figure,than it disappeared. Altair then felt a thump on his head, and that's the last he remembered. He then woke up in a room with a hooded chick. She said, "You can't go back to your old life before it ends." Altair then asked her, "Who are you?" She answered, "I am but a whisper in the wind. You sought us out, an I saw you kill the Saracen. She then asked Altair in the eye and asked, "You support the Saracens? You Support the Crusaders?" Altair then looked in her eye and said, "I don't support neither of them." She said, "We don't neither. She then brought him before Sinan. Sinan saw something in Altair, and allowed him to begin training to be an Assassin. One of Altair's teachers was the mysterious woman he first met. Months passed, and finally sometime in June 1190 A.D. he was made a full member of the Creed. Altair developed feelings for the mysterious women he first met in the stronghold and she grew feelings for him too, and then they both admitted that they love one another. Two months later, Altair asked her to marry him and she said yes. Sinan gave his blessing for the wedding, and they were wed within the halls of their base. Sinan has now given Altair his first mission as a member of their organization, and now he is about to fulfill it.
