Falling endlessly back to Earth, all I can do is wonder.
"One day, you can come to Earth with us, Maria. As soon as your disease is healed."
The image of her smile echoed in my mind.
"Is this goodbye?"
A mere tear stains Maria's eternal beauty.
"I'm sorry…"
I can't speak anymore. Only float away in space.
"I'll avenge your death. I promise!"
The moment we lost each other was only but a nightmare in my mind.
"I'll be back, Maria…" I murmur while my life drains from my fatal body.
