How to Bake a Cake

Tails woke up and wanted to bake a cake before Sonic woke up. It is Amy's birthday tomorrow, and Tails knew that Sonic wouldn't come but still wanted to hand-make Amy's cake. Something felt a little off, but the orange fox couldn't place his finger on what.

"Okay, so I need two eggs… Where are the eggs…? Oh! Right there! Now for a pile of chocolate…"

Shadow could somehow smell the chocolate, and ran straight into Tails to get it and then devour the chocolate like a rabid five-year-old.

"MY CHOCOLATE! MINE!"

"Hey, that's for Amy's cake!"

Amy was peering in Sonic's window as usual, and overheard the commotion. She went to see what was going on.

"Tails, why is Shadow here?"

"I think he might like chocolate… A lot…"

"MY PRECIOUSSSSSSS! NOT YOU PRECIOUSSSSSSSSS!"

"That might be an understatement." Silver had now suddenly appeared.

"Umm Silver? Why are you here?"

"Because I need… BAKING SODA!"

"NO! MY FOOD! MY CHOCOLATE! NOT YOU!" Shadow then kicked Silver in the face with a chocolate-covered foot.

"What was that for?"

"MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE!"

"Chill it boys." Rouge flapped in, looking for Shadow. "Now let's go home crazy chocoholic."

"NEVER! MINE! MY CHOCOLATE!"

"EEK! A MOUSE!"

"YOU NO STEAL PRECIOUS!" Shadow smashed the mouse with his bare hands, with guts and blood spattering all over the place.

"Look what you've done Shadow! You ruined my favorite dress!" Amy pulled out her giant hammer.

"Can we please calm down? All I want to do is bake a cake, not cause the apocalypse!"

"NO SMASHY PRECIOUS!" Shadow destroyed the hammer with a sugar-rush power punch.

"Hey there little bu- what's going on here?" Sonic had finally woken up and was shocked by the extremely messy kitchen area and many of his friends in a fight to the death.

"It started with Shadow and then I don't know…"

"Shadow, I have some chocolate for you. Come and get me!" Rouge grabbed a large hunk of chocolate and lured Shadow back home.

"Hey Sonic, lucky of you to wake up while I'm still here…"

"Gah! Get away from me!" Sonic ran off, with Amy chasing him.

"Let me help you with the cake, Tails."

"Thanks a lot Silver! I don't know if I'd ever be able to finish by tomorrow alone."
