Seddie one-shot! Haven't done these guys in ages! Anyway, rate, review, whatever you want, just let me know if you loved it, liked it, hated it, so that I can become a better writer! Thanks a bunch!

It's like deja vu. Because you know you've seen it all before. You want to shout, scream, cry, but the words catch in your throat and you're left mouthing words that you cannot seem to force out.

A familiar scream rings next to your ear, and you make to move, but a hand catches you – the same girl who screamed – and you're forced to stop because you cannot move while she has hold of you.

You know the girl in the middle of the road sees the huge truck barrelling toward her, and she seems to have come to terms with the fact she won't scrape by with her life.

So she looks at you, a bitter smile twisting her lips, a knowing glint in her eyes. You see her blue phone tumble from her hands and hit the ground with a crack that resonates in your ears.

You see her spread her arms out wide, tip her head back, and you watch as the sunlight glints off her curls.

And then, the sickening crunch as the truck barrels into her side.

And, for a single bitter, twisted moment, it looks like she's flying.

The girl next to you lets out a high-pitched scream and her nails dig into the soft skin of your arm, but your eyes are only glued on the figure lying in the middle of the traffic that was roaring around her.

It seems cruel and sick to you that the world continues to go on while her heart has stopped its methodical beating.

You shake off the girl next to you, and without even thinking of the traffic, you run into the middle of the road, scoop the crumpled girl into your arms and hurtle off the road again. You look down at her angelic features – those glistening eyes, that head of sparkling hair, a smile gracing those sweet lips of hers.

And you think to yourself, she looks just like a child.

There are people talking to you – they're standing right next to you – but it sounds like they're miles away.

At that moment, all there is is the still body in your arms and you. And that's all you want.

You swear you see her eyelids flicker, and you drop to your knees, calling her name, letting the syllables roll off our tongue.

But she doesn't move.

She'll never move again.

Someone's tugging on your arm, shouting your own name – faintly, you recognize the voice and you can hear the tears lacing it – but instead you lie the girl on the cold, hard ground and you look down at her.

Her hair is like a pillow against her head, and she is still smiling. Still someone is shouting your name, begging you to get up, pulling against your arm.

You lean down toward the figure's ear, and just before the world collapses around you, you whisper one single sentence.

I never stopped loving you, Sam.

You topple backwards and look up at the bright blue sky – two people loom over you, both with brown hair and brown eyes and both with tears glistening above you.

And you know, even before it really registers, that you are about to breathe your last.

Freddie! Freddie, please! Don't go!

Your numb fingers grab Carly's, and you clutch her shaking hand, staring at the sky again, ignoring the mist cobwebbing over your cataracts.

You swear you see two bright, blue eyes glinting up at you, and you smile because you know that the love of your life is waiting for you.

Slowly, your grip slackens on Carly's hand, your eyes flutter closed, and your chest stills.

The last thing you see is a glint of gold and blue.
