FullMetal Alchemist: Greed's return chapter 1
It was pitch black and all that the man could do was watch sadly as he was taken over by his own misery, his sadness for all the world to see the problem was he was all alone. The man was called Greed and he was part of a group called the Homunculi or ex member to be exact.
"Yeah, those were the days of my life that I myself despise the being told what to do by that old hag, Dante still, being near that coward Envy, was worse." Greed thought to himself, as one of the Homunculi he was made by Dante in a effort to bring back her lover whom she herself killed.
"All I was to that woman was a pawn, and then she had the nerve to see if I would obey her? Fat chance" he hissed.
He thought about his friends Law and Dorochet and Martha who were chimeras, and how they all stuck by him even although all of them knew what would happen in the end.
"Yes, how sad all I have now is complete blackness". Greed said to himself. He thought about fighting Edward and how Edward had beaten him in battle and how he showed remorse for his crimes just before dieing.
But most of all, he thought about Kimblee and how he had betrayed his trust and friends. "But what is the point thinking about it now it's not as if I can turn the clock back" he sat up and sighed.
"It was all my own fault, if I hadn't been so greedy and obsessed with having immortality then maybe the others would be alive now".
"I wish I could be a real human again but who am I kidding"? said Greed with a sad smile.
"And you will Greed".
"Who said that"? Asked Greed, puzzled
"I am the supreme lord of alchemy" the voice said.
"What? Greed asked, kind of intimated by the voice.
"It is my job to make sure that alchemy is not to be used for evil and I know about the Homunculi as well".
"Oh, you know about what I did as well"? Greed asked sadly, as a small tear fell off his cheek.
"Yes", came the reply.
"I know that you are so different from the other Homunculi in that you showed kindness to Edward Elric's brother Al".
"But I kidnapped him, so what kind of monster does that make me"? Greed cried out.
You didn't hurt him".
"No I didn't" Greed thought.
"I need your help Greed, the other Homunculi are being reborn as well and are planning to make a philosophers stone using the whole world."
"What!" Greed shouted.
"So, what do you say Greed"?
"How can I go back to earth"? Greed asked, smiling.
"lets do it, Envy here I come." grind Greed
