"TRAVIS!"Katie howled in laughter as Travis mercilessly tickled her sides.

It was the first Christmas they spent together as a couple after Travis asked her out a few months ago.

Travis merely chuckled as Katie writhe on the floor with laughter. In the midst of their laughter,they somehow ended up on Katie's bed. Travis looked at Katie as her laughter subsided. Her cheeks and face were flushed,smiling a wide grin as her chest heaved up and down. Travis kissed her nose and ruffled her hair affectionately. Katie sighed and curled herself up on Travis' warm chest,listening to his even breathing. Travis' hand stayed on her hair,stroking her hair while the other was wrapped loosely around her waist.

After a few minutes of silence,Travis suddenly exclaimed. "Hey look Katie!" Katie's head snapped up and followed his extended hand pointing to the window. "Don't you see it, Katie?" Travis' eyes flashed to her face for a second and darted back to the window that held something of his interest. "I can't. What is it?"

Travis suddenly stood up, a few feet from the window, still pointing at the unseen object. Katie was curious. She stood up and was at Travis' side at the instant,craning her neck. "Aw,you missed it! Never mind,it's gone now."Travis said. A look of puzzlement crossed Katie's face.

"Oh,look! Mistletoe!" said Travis in an innocent voice,pointing at something above their heads. Katie looked up and there it was. The innocent green plant with red berries staring down at them. She could almost hear people giggling and urging them to kiss each other.

Before she knew it,his lips came crashing down on hers. Travis' strong arms wrapped themselves in Katie's waist,pulling her closer. Katie's fingers twist themselves to Travis' hair. It wasn't too long that Katie found herself totally absorbed by the kiss. Their lips moved together in perfect harmony,almost as if they were made for each other.

All too soon, they broke apart with their faces flushed and their breathing ragged.

"You tricked me." Katie said, a trace of a faint smile on her lips. Travis' face broke into a wide smile and he held Katie closer to him. He rested his forehead against hers and chuckled. "Well, how else was I gonna make you get out of that bed?" he teased, smiling the crooked smile she always loved. Before she knew it,Travis twirled her around.

"You..are..unbelievable, Stoll." Katie said between breaths. Travis laughed. "Is it a good thing or a bad thing?" he asked,now swaying them to imaginary music. He twirled her again. "You're lucky it's a good thing." she teased. Travis chuckled. He slowed them and rested his forehead against hers again. Their faces were so close that Katie could feel his breath fanning her lips.

Her eyes instantly closed and her face broke into a wide smile. "Remind me Katie-Kat to thank your sister Layla later." he said,his voice husky. Her eyes fluttered open just in time to see him smirk at her.

"My,my. You are becoming a sappy romantic now,Stoll." she teased,her hands wrapping around his neck again. "Only for you Gardner." he said.

Their lips melted into one another again, this time soft and slow.

"Merry Christmas, Katie-Kat." he whispered in breathlessly.
