Poem of a Pavement Artist

Just a little poem I thought of before I started school and I thought I ought to publish it. I really hope you guys will like it, please R&R :

The shadows are my best friend;

I am hiding in plain sight.

No one sees me in the crowd

With clothes as black as night.

I walk with waves of people

No matter where they go.

I almost feel like one of them

With a task they'll never know.

I turn into an alley

With no people walking here

I just keep walking casually

Like I have nothing to fear.

I hand comes around me and covers my mouth

Dragging me deeper into the night.

Do they know who I really am;

Or how well I can fight?

I shift my weight and grab his arms

But he catches the back of my knee.

He counters out my own attack

And ends up flipping me.

I lay looking up into his eyes

And my heart begins to twirl.

I love his smirking as he says,

"Hello Gallagher Girl."
