Saiyan Preschool
Disclaimer: I don't own Dragon Ball Z, and unless I get an unusual stroke of luck, and Mr. Akira dies, and I realize that he's suddenly my long lost uncle, I never will.
Author's Note: This is based before Goku goes to earth, and before planet Vegeta is destroyed.
"But dad!" protested 4 year old Goku. "Kaka, you must go to preschool." Bardock, stated firmly. The chibi Saiyan pouted, tears welling up in his eyes. His black hair was becoming a mess, due to his repeated shaking. "You need an education, kid. Do you want to be a bum, living on the street?" Bardock's voice commanded an answer. "Do I have to go to pre-school if I'm a bum?" Goku asked hopefully, a twinkle in his eye. "Yes, you have to go either way." "But dad!" He whined. "No buts, get dressed." he said. "But…" "NOW!" Goku scampered off. Raditz walked into the room, dressed in a pair of ripped blue jeans, and a black t-shirt. "Time for pre-school?" asked the impatient teenager. "Yeah, he's really persistent about staying home, but he has to grow up sometime. He needs to eventually become a man, get a job, and get some kids. The little kid has such a giant heart, and that may come to be his defeat on the field of battle. I can only hope that he grows up to be a great warrior, so he can bring honor to this family, and.." he mumbled on. "Dad, I have a life, and I have to get to school. I don't want to listen to your problems. Get a therapist." with that, Raditz walked out the front door. Bardock sighed. "I suppose he's right. GOKU! Find me the yellow pages."
"Vegeta, you want to rule this kingdom some day, am I correct?" asked Vegeta Sr. "Yes father, and I will be the greatest leader the Saiyan race has ever seen!" shouted Vegeta. "Yes, yes, but if you want that, you must go to school! You must learn our history, our economy, our culture!" Vegeta Sr. went on. Prince Vegeta was in his father's room, called in just minutes ago, to discuss his education. The decorative scarlet tapestry of the bed enhanced the appearance of the large room. Prince Vegeta was situated at the top, his hands together behind his head. "Yes, yes, father, I understand, but that baka, Kakarot will be there! He embarrasses me so! Always clinging like terribly done laundry!" he complained, his eyes turning into slits as he continued to complain about the third class child. "If you agree to go, you have no choice anyway, then I will be sure of it that no third class scum will go within 1000 feet of you! I swear of it, you shall not be bothered, so no worries for you." said Vegeta Sr. "Fine, I shall go." said Prince Vegeta.
"Fine daddy, I'll go." said Goku in finality, clearly losing the argument against his father. "I'm glad you see it my way." said Bardock, grinning profusely.
