The Voice walked forth among his people. Tonight they feasted in honor of the son of the northern king. But Ali Mukhtab wasn't interested in the Prince, he knew the prince and his destiny. It was his companion that he was interested in. Sir Myles led him over the small girl.

The first glimpse he caught of her she was fidgeting not comfortable in this grand setting. He wondered is this young girl had any idea. The woman she would become. The legend she would be. Did she have any clue that the world round would know her name? that one day songs would be sung of the battles she would fight and the deeds she would do? That she would go down in history? One day young knights would learn her name as they took their turn in fighting for their own shield.

Did this girl knwo that she would make the world dance her tune. Did she know the man she would marry watched her even now? That he already loved her? And their children would grow to be legends of their own right.

This girl who despised magic so would change the world with it. She would, one day, start a school of magic that would grow and flourish. That people would come from all over the world to learn in.

Did she have any clue as to the titles she would wear with ease. The Lioness. The Woman Who Rides Like a Man.

Somehow he hoped not. He hoped she would enjoy her youth a little longer. For now let her be Squire Alan who could beat the blooded Tusain knight in battle. Let her take the time to grow into the legend and learn to be the Lady Knight.

And going into this meeting he knew, if no one else did yet, that he was meeting a living legend.
