ZIVA
Gibbs wouldn't have let her go without a fight, so she did the only thing she could think of. She pulled the ultimatum card and he'd played right into it. She knew he was going to pick Tony, she had counted on it. She placed her faith in his judgment because she knew he would make the right call. She was hurt with her words, cut to the core, but she would hide it for everyone's sake. She had something to prove and she was going to do it on her own.
She stared him down, trying her hardest to keep the truth out of her eyes, a feat in its own right as her emotions were openly displayed within their brown depths like a television broadcast.
She watched them leave, tears cascading down her face as she realized she may never see them again. She hoped they wouldn't stay mad too long, she hoped they'd realize who she was with them was who she truly was. She hoped they didn't hate her forever.
GIBBS
He had felt his heart stop when he heard her telling him to chose, he never thought he would have to make such a choice. They were his team, his family and now he had to choose? So he did the only thing he could think and choose Tony. Tony wasn't the one making him make the decision, and Tony was his senior field agent. As he watched her give a resolute nod at his answer he wondered why he didn't think to force her to stay. She had death in her eyes, and he wondered if he would ever see her again.
As the plane took off he decided he wouldn't tell DiNozzo of these events. He would only end up distraught and he couldn't have that, he had to stay strong, they all did, because they were going to get her out alive.
TONY
She had been avoiding him, she wouldn't even look at him as they stood on the tarmac. As much as that hurt he ignored it, telling himself that they could sort everything out on the plane. When he watched Gibbs walk on alone, his head hung low, his heart shattered. He found himself speaking but he couldn't really bring himself to hear what he was saying. All that mattered was that Ziva wasn't on the plane with them, Ziva was gone.
He clutched his phone tightly in his hand, telling himself that she would call, and everything would be okay, because he wouldn't allow anything less than that.
So originally this was just supposed to be in Ziva's POV but I thought that was TOO short so I added Gibbs and Tony in there as well. They aren't as in depth as Ziva's because I wanted the focus to remain on her. Anyway, I hadn't seem something like this done for Aliyah so I decided to take a stab at it. I know it's a bit late, but better late than never right. :)
Reviews would be very much appreciated!
