Mario belongs to Nintendo.

"M-Mario...that's..."

"Yeah I know. Now get me a towl so I can dry him off."

Jr. whimpered as Mario carried him to a guest room that wasn't that far from the throne room. Mario sat down with Jr. in his lap and made sure to be careful with the child's spikes as he rubbed his hand up and down on Jr's shell. Peach came in with a blue towel and handed it to her boyfriend.

"Mario, what happened?" Peach asked as she watched Mario wrap Jr. up in the towel once he finished drying Jr. off.

"I have no idea Peach. I was trying to get out of the rain when I heard crying in a alley and I found Jr. in a box." Mario explained as Jr. yawned.

"Was Bowser there?" Peach asked and Mario shook his head.

Peach looked at the sleeping prince. It probably took Mario forever to get Jr. into the castle and past the guards.

"We have to watch out for Trisha." Mario said as he ran his hand through Jr's hair.

"Why?" Peach asked.

"I think she saw Jr. She was glaring at me and pointing at the box while she talked to Adren." Mario answered and laid down on the bed with Jr. on his stomach.

Peach sighed knowing that the news of their enemy's son staying at her castle would spread quickly. She also knew that the press would be after her all day tomorrow or until Bowser comes to find Jr.

"Are you hungry?" Peach asked and her boyfriend nodded his head.

"Ok, I'll have Bonnie make you some spaghetti and cook some meat." Peach said and went to go find the oldest cook in the castle before she left to go home.
