It was dark out. Joker could hear the sounds of footsteps in the hall of Arkham Asylum. The footsteps seemed to stop right in front of Joker's cell. Out of nowhere, the doors blew open. Joker stood back as a cloaked man stepped in. All Jokers could see was green glowing coming from under the cloak. Joker began to laugh. "That was quite a show but just who the hell are you?" Joker demanded. The man threw the cloak away. Joker saw that the man had all green on his suit except on his soldiers in which were black. He also had a symbol on his chest that looked that of a lantern. "I am Hal Jordan of the green lantern core and you sir are in a mess of trouble." Hal shouted. "Oh the why don't I bend over and pull my pants down since I been a bad little boy daddy" Joker giggled. The green lantern held up his fist and encases Joker in a sphere made of green light." Your laugh gas has been causing ripples in the space time continuum." Hal told him. "You don't know how bad that is do you?" Out of nowhere a man in black swoops down and slams into the green lantern. The sphere holding the Joker was released. Joker began to run away and he yelled "Thanks Battsy" Green Lantern stood up and used his ring to conjure up a green hammer. He flew up into the air and began swinging at Batman. Batman kept dodging all of the heavy swings. "Your slimy little man isn't you." Green lantern shouted. "By the way, you just released an intergalactic criminal into the city." "Joker is a lot of things but he is no intergalactic criminal." Batman replied. "Are you aware that his gas has been opening ripples in the universe?" Green lantern asked. Batman stood there. "Now help me find the man and bring him back that way I can take him to the core and have the Elders pass judgment on him." They both went flying and running down the street looking for the insane psychopath. They arrived at the Jokers usual hideout when they were attacked by wild Hyenas. After they got done taming the wild beasts, they found Joker in a test room. They hid, watching Joker as he continued to pop his gas balloons. "Oh my god , he's going to make an interdimensional portal by tearing a giant hole in the universe." Green lantern whispered. "Is that necessarily bad?" Batman asked. "It will slowly destroy both universes." Green lantern responded. Batman stopped talking as he continued watching the Joker. Out of nowhere a red slice appeared in the air. Joker proceeded to walk through. Batman and Green Lantern quickly ran through before it closed. After they went through, they saw a whole new world. Where the Daily Planet was is now occupied by a place called the bugle. They proceed to look around to see all the destruction that Joker had caused. It could only be described as pure Carnage. They continued to look as a strange man in a spider suit swung down. "Who are you?" the man asked. "We are two heroes here to capture a clown man called the Joker." The green lantern replied. "Oh yeah well let me give you the story, your friend came here and saw me fighting my enemy carnage and the symbiote that formed carnage was impressed on the amount of insanity in Joker as you called him. The symbiote bonded with him and they proceeded to go to Antarctica to find the cosmic being known as the Silver Surfer. They want to steal the power of the Surfer and become a god." The man explained. "Well then if that is the case then we might want to get going green lantern." Batman said. "Now hold on, if you guys are going after that thing then I'm coming that way I can finally take care of the symbiote, Carnage." The man shouted. "By the way the name is Spiderman. And I will be accompanying you on your trip." So they set off to catch the Joker and Carnage. See you next Chapter.
