Lucy crammed her slim young figure into the small car.

"You know James, if this car was any bigger and had a thousand zits on the hood of it, it would look exactly like your first girlfriend"

"Shut up", James Sirius answered back and hit her harshly in the side with his elbow.

"Ouch", Lucy whimpered slightly.

"SHUT UP BACK THERE", came Percy's voice from the front seat.

"Sorry", the two answered in unison, but gave each other one final death glare before turning to face the window.

"If I didn't know myself it was impossible I'd believe you too had been drinking that act-like-your-five-years-old potion"

"You know, you were the reason uncle George created that…daddy dearest"

"Humbug", Percy muttered.

"No not humbug, he said it to me the day before he started making it 'if only there was some way to make your father realize how old he was acting'"

"Yup, he asked me for help with naming the product", James said proudly.

"And a very clever one it was", Lucy said rolling her eyes and giggling slightly.

"George liked it…"

"Oh please uncle George was only being nice since he knew how down you'd been feeling since your breaking with said girlfriend…"

"I dumped her…"

"No you didn't"

"Seriously, if you guys don't keep it down I'm gonna turn sideways and drive this car into the ditch"

"Where are you ever gonna find a ditch 500 miles up in the air?", Lucy asked calmly.

"I will…shut up!"

"Very clever response there, daddy"

Percy ignored her.

For about a half hour nobody said anything.

"You know I really wouldn't mind if you decided to crash the car, uncle Perce", James said after a while.

Lucy rolled her eyes once again.

"Of course you wouldn't, because this is all your fault in the first place"

"No it's not, you tricked me!"

"Did not"

"Did too"

"Did not"

"Did too"

"Did n..."

"SHUT UP", Percy's voice now reaching a loud shriek.

Everybody quieted down.

After a good fives minutes Percy hissed:

"It was both of your faults, if only you too had stayed home studying and perhaps finished the homework you had over summer, you would have been sitting on the train with all of your friends by now and I hadn't had to get up at 4 in the morning to drive you two to your hearing at the ministry"

"But it was all Lucy's idea she, tricked me!"

"But I was so bored…what was I supposed to do!"

the two shouted simultaneously.

"I don't care!…I just can't believe it, my own child…"

"Yeah yeah you wish I was more like Molly…"

"No I…just be quiet"

"Says it all…"

"I love you, you annoying little…why do you think I put up with you…"

They drove silently for a while.

"Dad…"

"Hm?"

"I love you too"
