Years after humanity's near demise, Nuclear Fallout had sped up the process of evolution, resulting in animals becoming sentient, humanoid beings. These beings later became known as "Mobians," and established a government similar to a monarchy. King Kanver was the first king and the last of this monarchy, He was obsessed power, he wanted to unite the world under one banner. And went insane because of this, Eventually, he stopped caring about his subjects, and considered them resources. But the captain of his guard, Captain Shoraku, did not like the way the king treated his people. Knowing that the king needed to be usurped, he went into exile, changed his name to "Shockwave,"and recruited the help of other countries to help him with his plan. Around this time, King Kanver found a human artifact that gave him unlimited power, and made him immortal. And renamed himself "Revnak." When Shockwave heard of this, he went to the Echidna Clan to request their help sealing the king away, as he knew he would be no match against the king, the echidna tribe agreed and thus a war broke out between Kanveronia and the rest of the countries.
But the fiercest battle was the battle between Revnak and Shockwave, with both sides out of options, Shockwave activated the seal, and Revnak was sealed within the Master Emerald. Having usurped the king, Shockwave became ruler, and founded a democracy, known as The Mobian Union. Which was dedicated to helping its citizens. And this government still operates to this day...
