Seung Jo POV:
Over the past two months I noticed Ha Ni was spending a whole lot of time with Joon Gu's new girlfriend, Chris. All the time I would call her on her days off from work, while I'm on break her and her other out with Chris or he sees Chris with Ha Ni hanging with my mom at the house.
Don't get me wrong, Chris is a nice girl and all. She's taken Joon Gu's affection that he's had for my wife away. I know she moved to Korea from England because of Joon Gu's and she wanted to know more about her heritage that she got from her mother. It's now that most of the time she's gushing about Chris more than she does me.
I walked into our room and saw Ha Ni laying on the bed on her watching something on her laptop.
She looked up at me and smiled. " Oh, hey, Seung Jo!" she squealed and me waved me to the bed.
"What are you watching?" I asked her, I took of my coat and joined her on the bed.
I could tell it was an American movie. The actor looked familiar, but I couldn't name him off the top of my head.
"I'm watching an old Johnny Depp movie called Cry Baby, Chris introduced me to it. It's her favorite movie by him" she told while she while watching the movie.
The realization hit me.
"You mean Johnny Depp from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies?" I said.
"Yeah, but I enjoy this movie too, so romantic and funny I see why she loves it" she gushed.
I noticed something. "Since when do you watch foreign movies without subtitles?" I questioned her.
"Oh, Chris has been teaching the girls and I English, and I've been getting better at it." She said.
"Is she your new husband now" I asked
sarcastically.
She jumped up to look at me taken back. "What?"
"Nothing"
She busts out laughing. "What's so funny?" I ask frustrated.
"Seung Jo, are you jealous… a girl?" She asked while still laughing.
"No" I simply stated.
"Oh my, you are" she kept giggling. "Seung Jo, Chris is a very beautiful girl, but I don't go that way at all" she assures me says holding my face.
"You're with her all the time" I state to her.
"She has no friends here, all of her other friends are back in England, but their too busy in college right now to visit her, and plus she's fun to hangout with" Ha Ni smiled. "She's been teaching me English, showing me and the girls Western movies because she lived in American for a couple of years when she was an exchange student in high school. And she's been teaching me how to swim and dance."
"Why didn't you ask me to teach you English and to swim" I said almost hurt.
"Because she's patient with me, unlike somebody, and you're more busy at the hospital more than me" she stated looking at me with one eyebrow raised and a hand on her hip.
"Well, you got me there" I shrugged.
"Plus, Jong Gu wanted me to keep her busy, because he's been planning her birthday party this tomorrow, it's her first one away from her family and he's invited her parents" .
Guilt hit me. "Sorry I didn't know"
"It's ok" She kissed my cheek.
"Well, Jong Gu said he was taking her to dinner and a movie tonight since he's got everything done"
"Wanna watch the movie with me" she looked hopeful.
"Why not?" I shrugged my shoulders while she started the movie from the beginning and smiled as we watched it together.
