She dragged him out of
that inky blackness surrounding him
She walked right in like a ray of light
smiling and cheerful, determined to see him smile
But, he had to stay there for he had to protect,
The other lights who joined her then
But then so many others came until the inky
black became a soft light place
It was only then he went ahead with his lights
into the glow
