AM: You could read this as a pairing... a really fluffy pairing... (pls read this as a pairing.)
Keith's breathing was hitting the roof of his mouth and rolling down off his teeth, sounding hollow and steady. Kevin glanced over and saw that he was lying on his back with his forearm over his eyes. Trying to sleep.
Kevin shuddered against the cold, feeling his teeth chatter together slightly. How was Keith not cold? He didn't even have an anorak. In fact, he'd taken off his jacket and wadded it up as a sort of makeshift pillow.
"Keith? Keeiiiiiitthh?"
"Hmmm wha?" Keith mumbled drowsily.
"Oh good, you're awake!"
"Eh."
"It's a bit spooky out here, isn't it?"
"You're the one that needed to investigate camping." Keith mumbled, turning on his side, away from Kevin.
"I know it's just…" Kevin scooted over towards Keith, snuggling up against him and throwing an arm around him. "I'm glad you're here." He said, burying his forehead into Keith's back.
Keith put his hand on Kevin's elbow. "Me too. Though, maybe next time we go 'camping' we should bring a tent. Or at least a sleeping bag or something."
"How was I supposed to know? I'd never heard of camping. Why do you think I'm investigating it?"
