The last thing I should be doing is writing a new story but eh I did anyway. Reviews would be very much appreciated.
Disclaimer: I don't own wicked
Behindthe curtain was where Glinda sat, blonde curls were piled upon her head, a glittering tiara adorned with the finest gems sat on top of them. She wore a diamond necklace, several rings, and a dress that many girls would gladly sell they're souls for. But still she looked unhappy, actually that was an understatement, she looked downright miserable. Tears rolled down her cheeks and eyes were wide and glued to the scene playing out before her. A tall woman in a hat and cape was standing tall and regal whlie guards with spears and cross bows surrounded her, that woman was her best friend, her only real friend, and she was going to die tonight.
"Promise me you won't clear my name."
"Elphie I can't-"
"No promise me."
That conversation just kept playing over and over again in her head, Elphaba obviously wanted her to let her go, go on to become Glinda the Good and move on without her. That was easy for Elphaba to say of course, she wouldn't be the one who had to bare the burden of the death of her only two friends on her shoulders. she went pale as images from the night of his death flashed before her, she shook her head to clear them away. Now wasn't the time to think about Fiyero... he's gone she had to focus on best friend. The selfless girl who had changed her for the better, whom she'd given makeovers to and fought with and who she'd left behind that day when she didn't go with Elphaba and instead retreated back in to her comfort zone, back in to the shallow life of fame and glory, that girl was now about to leave her life forever. She wasn't making that mistake, not again. She wouldn't leave Elphaba to suffer alone, best friends stick up for each other, Elphaba had done it for her several times. Now it was her turn.
Just as the silhouette of a young girl appeared holding a bucket of water, jumped to her feet and ripped back the curtain.
"STOP!"
