The Rising Darkness

This is a story about OceanClan, descendants of RiverClan, and the problems they face as a darkness slowly takes over their clan.. My first story! Please no flames though. Rated T for later blood and violence.

A/N- This is my first fan-fic, so please R&R and no flames please.

The Rising Darkness

Main Characters

Rushingstar- Swift, light gray she-cat; river blue eyes.

Agateclaw- White she-cat; shimmering green eyes.

Reedtail- Ginger tom; one blue eye, and one gray eye, which he is blind in

Driftflower- Dark brown she-cat with light brown stripes; violet eyes; expecting kits

Furzepaw: Black tom with grey eyes

Darkness: Pitch black she-cat with a white tail and paw. She has icy blue eyes and a dog-tooth collar and dog-teeth claws (whatever they're called) the Leader of the newly-rebuilt BloodClan.

Prouloge

The hot sun shed immense heat down on the Clans below. Rushingstar, then newly appointed leader of OceanClan, guided the elders into a shallow pool to keep them cool. She padded over to Agateclaw, the deputy, "Agateclaw, I need you to go hunting. I know it's hot out," she said, "But we barley have any prey left." She added hastily, flicking her tail towards the pitifully small fresh-kill pile.

Agateclaw looked at Rushingstar, "I can't. The river's too low." She rasped. Then started to walk away into the shade, her tail flicking.

Rushingstar ran forward and blocked Agateclaw's way, "You are just being lazy. Go hunting in our part of our forest you flea-brain!" she hissed, then stalked off to go see how Driftflower was doing. Rushingstar peeked into the nursery, "Hello, Driftflower."

Agateclaw hissed in annoyance and walked to the warriors' den. "REEDFEATHER! WAKE UP!" she yelled from outside the den, then said, "Hunting partrol! HURRY UP!" Agateclaw then stalked off to the apprentices's den. "Wake up, Furezepaw!" she hissed, "Hunting partrol. Now!"
