A blonde boy walked through the shelves of the library. He trailed his fingers along the spines. He was getting farther and deeper into the dark bellows of the old library. A book seemed to catch his eye. Not a new book or a great looking book just a red book sitting on the shelves. He blew the dust off it and looked at the cover. "Dynasty Warriors" it read. He randomly opened the book and read a passage. "Zhou Yu and Lu Xun sat around the table. Both trying to figure out a way to get Jing province…" he stopped reading. "Humpf how bogus." He sighed. He was about to close the book when his vision started to get fuzzy and he blanked out.
"Wake up my young soul." A soft voice said as the boy was shaken gently.
"Wha?" the boy jumped startled. He looked around. It was dark and down the hill where they were there was what looked like a camp. There were camp fires and guards walking around. "Were I? Where's the library?" the boy said scrambling around.
"Shh the guards will hear you. Yes you are defiantly him." The old man said walking around him. As the boys eyes adjusted he got a good look at the man. He was old maybe in his 70s had white hair and a tall white hat, along with a white and purple robe. He was stroking a white beard while in his other hand was 7 cards with black writing on them.
"I am who?" The boy asked very confused.
"You don't know? Well of course he doesn't." the man muttered answering himself. "You are the savior of Wu, and ultimately China. Hmm name what shall his name be? It must be something that people can associate with someone…" he trailed off deep in thought.
"What savior of Wu? And China what the heck?!?" the boy yelled angry why this man wasn't giving him answers.
"And of course he doesn't know…" he muttered again. He sighed. "You are in the era of the three kingdoms. The time when three kingdoms, thus the name, were at war for control of china. There is Wei, lead by the Cao family, Shu led by Lui Bei, and finally Wu led by the Sun family. The Sun family requires your help. That's why I summoned you here. Now if the Sun family loses this it will not be good. Ok so I explained the kingdoms and Wu…Hmmm oh yes why are you here. Well you are here to help the Sun family." The old man said
"You explained why I was here twice…" The boy said annoyed by this senile old man. "Ok who are you?"
"Oh yes me. Why I am Zuo Ci." The only man announced proudly going into a fighting pose.
"Never heard of you." The boy said looking at the strange old man. As if he could fight.
The old man twitched and lost his air of power. "Of course he hasn't…" Zuo Ci muttered disappointingly. "Let's hurry this up. Your name will be Lu Nao. And you can't run around in those clothes they are hideous." Zuo Ci said in disgust at the boys clothes.
"WHAT! My clothes are fine. And Lu Nao what kinda is name is that?" the Lu Nao yelled.
"No they aren't. And Lu Nao will strike fear into your enemy's hearts. Well ill fix your clothes then I must leave. It seems the prison guards at Cao Cao's castle are surprised to find the prisoner missing." Zuo C chuckled. Before magically putting more 'suitable' clothes on Lu Nao. "Oh by the way go to that tent there." He said pointing to a larger tent. Then like magic disappearing.
Lu Nao's clothes magically changed. His shirt was replaced by a red leather jerkin and a red and gold warrior top. And his pants were replaced by red clothes of the same attire. "Humpf my luck." Nao contemplated what to actually do. He sighed and started down towards the camp.
