I Promise You

I watch them pass

all day long

laughing, smiling

playing, talking

They seem so happy

carefree, normal

they seem as though

They are safe, secure

But they are not.

If they perished

At this moment

Danger, pain, loneliness

Is all they would know

Because they do not

Acknowledge the

beautiful blessing

sent by the King of Kings.

I see their faces

Hear their voices

Twisted in bitter

Agony.

I love them so,

My dear friends, companions

who so beautifully love me

in their own ways.

I ask my LORD

to help them see

Reveal to them

His glorious mystery

And in response

I do not get promises

of their future lives

Lived in Glorious Heaven

But a comfort

that touches me

head to foot

fingertip to fingertip.

"My Child,

listen carefully

to these words

You have ignored

for so long.

When you come home,

I will wipe every tear

from your precious

brown eyes.

There will be

no more sorrow

or pain

or grief.

I will take your sadness

and cast it out

far away.

You will never see nor

feel it again.

My home is free

from imperfection,

for it is Mine.

I know you love

many people

who reject Me,

I know you care

for those far from My Name.

But remember

that I have a plan

A seamless, perfect plan

That will work together for good,

Only good.

I want them to be with Me too.

But I want them

to want to be

with Me.

My plan acknowledges this.

My precious, beloved child,

do not mourn

for those who are not yet dead!

For I will cast your pain away.

This is My promise.

Count on it with all your might, for I

Never

Break My promises.

I love you, dear treasure."
