It's all about love.

The two of them were sitting on a bench, facing the sea. Their bodies were so close to each other that they could feel the other's warmth, their hands were linked together and none of them were saying anything.

Sometimes Yoshiko would wonder how they reached this point, where they could understand each other, even without words, to the point where she could love all the moments they spend together, where she could be herself without restriction, where she could show her doubts, insecurities, hopes, real desires and even her saddest times.

She loved all of her, her long red hair, her golden eyes, her face, her slender figure; even if she said she was just a plain girl Yoshiko would say that maybe she was the weirdest from them all, half teasing her, half talking seriously.

Yoshiko was in love with Riko.

Riko wondered how they ended up together once, and she realized it was thanks to their broken hearts. Her falling in love with Chika was almost an obvious outcome, seeing how the girl helped her overcome her composing problem and teaching her about the important things.

But Riko quickly realized that her love would not come to a happy end when she thought of You and how Chika would not stop bragging about how lovely her best friend was, she did not even try to rival You in this.

Yoshiko was heart broken as well, falling in love with your childhood friend was a wonderful thing if you were You Watanabe and your crush could be mutual, but it was awful if that childhood friend was, as well, another person's childhood friend.

It was obvious to her that Ruby and Hanamaru were dating, even though they were trying to keep it a secret from everyone, it hurt her even more when she thought that they didn't even try to say anything to her, wasn't she her friend as well?

They had broken hearts basically because they came late to their loved one's life, because they were outsiders, because they weren't with them from the very beginning, maybe their love would have had a different outcome if so, she doesn't regret anything, though.

She and Yoshiko found a warmth in each other that nobody else could provide to them, another person suffering the same fate, another person in need of love.

She would find Yoshiko's ramblings useful when she wanted to stop thinking about Chika, and Yoshiko would find Riko's comebacks and playing along rather refreshing compared to what Hanamaru would do.

As time passed by their names would become nicknames, their loneliness became reassuring company, their thoughts started to be filled with the other. They once woke up naked in Yoshiko's bed, that's when they noticed that there was not going back.

That brings us to this point, they had accepted each other's self, they complemented each other, they are in love and they do not regret anything.

Because they shared the same destiny from the start.
