"Commander Sampson, we found a signal in location-This maybe hard to believe sir, but I think that's where your daughter goes to school at," Miki looked up at the commander with a sad look on her face. "S-She shouldn't...not now." Sampson mumbled under his breath.
Moments before in a different location...
"Salamon!" Anna looked down to a puppy dog like digimon, whom wore a golden ring on her neck. "How much longer?" the digimon sighed at this question, then looked behind still finding the large black rabid dog chasing them. "LONGER THAN YOU THINK!" Salamon responded, still running, they both got exhausted trying to find a place to hide.
Salamon rapidly turned to an alley, hoping the large dog wouldn't chase them, but instead the dog had cornered them, "Man, I wish...we could..get out and not...end like this!" Anna panicked, holding her left hand to her chest in pain.
Suddenly, Anna's hand began to glow grey. "ANNA!" Salamon looked at the fourteen year old girl. A device fell out of nowhere, Anna looked gluelessly at it, desperate to escape she grabbed the device activating the DNA charge. "DNA charge," she whispered calmly.
"Salamon digivolve to..." Salamon was glowing white, her was changing, and soon instead of a cute puppy there was a cat standing on it's hind legs, was white, and had it's ring on it's tail. "GATOMON" the creature shouted.
Anna was stunned of the transformation that had just took place, was it really Salamon she had known since 3rd grade? "Lightning paw!" the cat shouted attacking the large dog, it kept growling, why wasn't it dead?
"Neko punch!" this time when Gatomon finished the dog off, it had began to disappear. "That was no dog...that was a bakemon. It only took the shape of a dog." Anna was relieved, but what was a bakemon? "You okay...Salamon?" Anna questioned the cat.
Gatomon laughed, she placed her paw behind her head, "Of course!" she smiled. "Good, now we just need to go home and pretend this never happened." Anna grabbed Gatomon's paw, dragging her out of the alley.
Back at DATS headquarters.
"Marcus you idiot!" Thomas hissed at the brown-reddish haired fifteen year old. "What did I do this time ?!" Marcus hissed right back.
Thomas sighed, "Marcus, you didn't forget did you?" Marcus looked rather a bit confused of what he wasn't supposed to forget. "About?" Marcus grinned nervously. "About Commander Sampson wanting us to meet-" Thomas was soon interupted and Commander Sampson was right in front of the two.
"Boys, I need you to go down town, and be sure everyone in that area is SAFE. Understand?" Commander Sampson asked, looking down at the two. "Of course...Commander...we've got it under control" Marcus chuckled dragging Thomas out of the room with Agumon.
Agumon began to whine soon after getting to the area they were assigned to head to. "But Boss! I'm a growing boy!" Agumon whined, "Your always hungry Agumon, give it a rest." Marcus sighed.
Soon enough, a sweet scent had captured Agumon's attention. "YUM, IT SMELLS LIKE...CHOCOLATE BROWNIES!" Agumon ran straight into an alley, only to attack a black haired girl.
"AGUMON!" Gaomon quickly grabbed the starving lizard digimon, knocking out Agumon quickly. "Sorry Miss-" he was interupted by the punch of a cat like digimon. "GET YOUR DIRTY PAWS OFF HER DOG BREATH!"
Thomas sighed. "We're sorry, we just-Wait! your a digimon!" Marcus chuckled at the sight of the foolishness of Thomas. "Oh really, I thought she was the milkman." Marcus snickered even more recieving Thomas' cheeks turning red of embarrassment.
"Commander, we have young..." Thomas tried getting the girl's name. "Anna..." she sighed.
"WHAT!?"
