As the trolleys all left the station one by one, Ruby looked up at the night sky and sighed.

We'll still all be connected. All connected by the same night sky.

Looking at all the stars, Ruby pointed and thought to herself.

"Each one of these stars represents one of our friends, that way we're all together."

"The shaking star, over there over the horizon. That one is Iris, restless, just like her."

She thought of how Iris could never stay still, and would always complain when told to do so.

"the two stars right next to each other, the ones that look like they're almost the same star, those are Frank and Len"

She thought of how she would go by their garage, and be able to hear the base rifts from inside when she passed.

"The dim star, the small one only barely visible, that's Scaredy, and Booboo's is the blinking star right next to it."

She thought of every time she saw booboo scare scaredy, and how Scaredy would always come to her for help with his fears.

"the green star below Iris's is Misery."

"because of her being sick and unfortunate all the time" she thought aloud.

"that red one is me. And the grey one, right next to mine...that's...that's his."

Ruby stared at the grey star, and imagined it changing shape, to look like his skull head. She remembered all the good times they had together, all the adventures, all the times she could have TOLD him, but didn't. Ruby nearly tore at her hair in frustration. Her voice was very shakey, and her eyes were brimming with tears.

"He left, and I never got to tell him, and now...I never will."

Ruby buried her face into her hands and let the tears pool into the creases in her skin.

"L-look on the b-bright. Si-i-i-ide she sang quietly, in a desperate,raspy voice.

Everything was falling apart, they were all going their separate ways, and the only thing that kept them connected, were the stars up above.
