No Matter What
(The title comes from the name of the song by Kerrie Roberts. Yes, this is a Silver/Blaze one-shot. I love these two, but I don't know why. Anyway, enjoy!)
Silver was up one night. He was thinking about Blaze. It had just been a while ago that he was reunited with her. He was really happy that Blaze was with him again, but he just felt uncertain about something.
"I don't know what to think. I know that Blaze is happy to see me again. I'm happy to see her too, but I just don't know if she really wants to be loyal to me. What am I supposed to do? How do I know, if she won't tell me?" Silver asked.
Unknowingly to Silver, Blaze was listening on to him. "I understand what you're trying to say, Silver. I know I'm not able to tell you directly, but I'm sure I can help you understand. And I know the right way to get my message across." Blaze said. She headed off knowing what she was going to do.
A little later, Silver stood by himself. He knew what he was going to tell Blaze when he saw her. "Blaze needs to know this. If I can't find out if she really wants to be with me, then I need to tell her that we need to be alone." Silver said.
He went inside to find Blaze. He saw her holding a microphone and a music box was next to her. "Blaze, there's something I need to tell you." Silver said. Blaze suddenly stopped him short as he stepped forward.
"I know what you want to say, Silver. But I can help you understand my true loyalty to you, and you'll realize what I really mean." Blaze said.
She turned on the music box and 'No Matter What' by Kerrie Roberts started to play. Silver sat down to listen to Blaze sing.

As the song finished, Blaze came over to Silver who was sitting wordless. "What did you need to say to me, Silver?" Blaze asked.
"Blaze, I'm sorry I doubted you. I guess I didn't realize how loyal you could really be." Silver explained.
"That's okay, Silver. I'm just glad to see that you understand." Blaze responded. Silver smiled, hearing this.
He was just happy to know that Blaze was not giving up on him. And Blaze was happy to know that Silver understood.
