I woke up with a start, tears falling from my eyes. I've had the same dream ever since I caught my boyfriend cheating on me. I was a human living in a troll's world and he made the world feel normal and me complete. As I lay back down I heared a gentle knock on the door. "KarKitty?" The nubby horned troll peared in. "Scar?" I peared over the top of my fluffy blanket. "Same dream again?" He asked perching on the edge of my bed. Both he and Terezi had been my best friends, my Moirals, since I had found myself on this meteor. KarKat had a huge temper when around others but when it was just me and him he was so sweet and gentle. I realized he was waiting for a response and I nodded. He opened his arms and I crawled on his lap for a hug.
"He was never worth you." KK told me rubbing my back. More tears started rolling down my cheeks again. "I thought he was going to be my forever Matesprit..." I felt KK sigh. "They'll be others. You gotta get over him." I sniffled, "KarKitty, I can't, I just can't." He quickly stood up making me fall back. "IS HE GOING TO BE THE ONLY FUCKEN ONE?
