Fuji and Atobe got bored all too easily.
Fuji had always tried to satisfy his need of entertainment with the (unwilling) help of others. But he soon found out that no matter how much of a genius he is, not all of his plans could be executed due to some financial and material restraints.
Atobe's wealth was enough to satisfy even his most bizarre whims, and all of those assets that his family had were at his disposal. But even with his ingenuity, he couldn't be bothered to find ways on how to effectively entertain himself. Operas, concerts, personal live entertainment and even his own circus were beginning to be dreary in his opinion.
Together, though, they found out that a lot of amusement can be brought out by combining their resources. Fuji gets to do whatever he wants (much to the dismay of everyone else) and Atobe finds more useful ways to spend (and boast about) his wealth, and his new entertainment is always unique and never dull.
Not only that, they also found amusement in being with each other, though nothing can compare to the enjoyment solicited at the expense of others, instead.
