Thoughts
Summary: "As Ash returns from Unova, he stops at Alto Mare to visit Latias and friends. There, Ash uses his Aura to revive Latios, but soon discovers that he is not entirely human..."
Prologue
As Ash wins up to the Finals in the Finals in the Unova League only losing to Trip.
"Pikachu just one battle before we win this!" Ash yelled. Pikachu ran on the field ready for any action.
"Serperior! Let's go."
Ash looked out at the battleground, a strategy forming in his mind.
"Pikachu, let's start with Quick Attack!" Ash commanded. Pikachu began to run quickly towards Serperior, hoping to attack first. But as soon as Pikachu reached Serperior, but Serperior moved out of the way with Dig.
"Pika?" Pikachu looked around, trying to find where his foe went.
"Now, use Leaf Storm!" Trip yelled out. Pikachu and Ash weren't sure where Serperior went, but out of nowhere, a powerful Leaf Storm from the ground that sent Pikachu flying across the field.
"Pikachu!" Ash called out to his friend, hoping that he was all right. Pikachu lay on the ground, Ash clenching his fist with worry. He couldn't let Trip win so easily. Just then, Pikachu slowly got up, glaring at the plant Pokémon.
"Use Leaf Tornado." Trip ordered his Pokémon. Ash had to think of something or he was going to lose the battle. For now, Ash had to have Pikachu run away from the attacks. That's it! Ash thought to himself.
"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack and run around Serperior!" Ash commanded. Pikachu quickly did as he was told, running around the Pokémon who was trying to attack. Serperior began to feel dizzy, not sure where to attack the Leaf Tornado and lost control of his power. "Now Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu obliged with his trainer, releasing a Thunderbolt straight to the grass type. But as soon as the attack hit Serperior explodes reliving to be a Substitute as the smoke covered the field.
"Serperior, use Solarbeam!" Trip yelled out catching Ash and Pikachu off guard and impacted Pikachu into a nearby wall
Ash turned his head, horrified that his opponent could have possibly beaten him. As Pikachu struggled to get up, his eyes opening slowly. Pikachu felt exhausted, not sure if he could keep the battle up much longer.
"Let's just end this right here." Trip smirked. "Serperior, use Frenzy Plant!"
! " Serperior unleashed the Frenzy Plant, but as quickly as Serperior unleashed his attack, Ash looked shocked watching Pikachu jump back onto the battlefield after taking the move head-on not wanting to lose.
"Well that Pikachu sure has guts" Trip looked shocked that Pikachu was standing despises how damage it was. "Now Serperior use Leaf Tor-" only to be cut out
"I give up no reward is worth seeing Pikachu in this condition," Ash declared
"Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town has forfeited meaning that Trip is the winner of the Unova League Championship!" The announcer screamed over the intercom as Ash backed off for a moment, staring at Trip. He lost. Ash lost the competition.
No why must this always happened every time I get close to winning I don't he thought as he walked to the pokémon center to get Pikachu healed with his heart shattered and on the verge from being considered broken. On his the way back to the port in Alfresata town Ash never spoke a word even do it was just him and since Iris left to continue her journey to be a Dragon Master while Cilan went back to his home had to continue to be a Gym Leader. On the ticket booth was ordering a ticket to Vermillion but unluckily there was a heavy storm will last 40 days between Unova and Kanto.
(*Author comes in and stops the recording "Now for those that wondering if this sounds similar my friend Lugia owe me a favor ever since I saved its life but that's another story for another day Now we will resume with your normal broadcast *Author resumes and disappears in a silver light leaving only red and blue 6-pointed stars where he ones stood)
"But the closest place near your location is a place called Alto Mare it's a place where lots of people will enjoy along with their famous water chariot would you like that instead judging form the fact that you seem like you need a vacation "
"Alto Mare, where have I heard it before" Ash thought
He then remember the water chariot race, Annie the soul dew and Latias kissing him before leaving
Crap I promised Latias I come back and visit after the Johor league but I wanted to be in Hoenn and I forgot it man I'm such a bad friend as he thought about about it while the other people in the line where started to get irritated
"Sir you're holding the line," said the ticket vender
"Oh sorry but sure one ticket please to Alto Mare", said Ash
"I wonder what Latias is doing Pikachu?" he talked to his companion
"Achoo ooh! as Latias sneeze I wonder who's thinking of me maybe its Ash then again Ash and Brock and what's is redhead name again Minister no Mistry no Wait its Misty?
Even do she found a way to talk to Latios when carrying the Soul Dew but its not the Ash left she soon found out that she loved Ash more than anyone more than Bianca and Lorenzo even more than her Somewhat Dead Brother but isn't (lets go comatose it would probably fit with this story).
I want to tell him I want to tell him how I feel about him but his Human and I'm a Pokémon and not just a normal pokémon a legendary and guardian Pokémon I suppose to set an example like both Arcy and Mother said once. I wish he Pokémon I do anything for something like that to happen even give up being a guardian of the sea for that to are you Ash my love? Latias though to herself
After Ash was sending out his pokémon from their pokémon and send Pikachu to watch over them as he went to his cabin thinking of ways that could have won on all of the leagues if he would have try to be more strict with Charizard or bond with him more he probably then I would have won both Indigo and the Silver Conference but then again Charizard is my powerhouse so I can't blame him or any other of my pokémon when I'm the one what didn't train hard enough. Maybe I should spend this next year in Mt. Silver training or just give it
Edit Feb 2: Was unhappy with the original so I modified it with having little impact to the story along with a better battle scene and removing Paul to bring a better impact for a when Ash discovers that Paul needs help
