What Love Throws Us
The way he looks at me makes me melt. I am completely and utterly in love with Nathan Scott, he just may not know it yet.
It all started when my dads bestfriend from college moved out to Tree Hill with his family right before summer started. I can still clearly remember the day my dad told me they were coming over, at first I thought "a boy my age, who cares he probably a jerk anyway, like all the other guys I have liked." But when I met him I knew he wasn't like most boys around. He was different.
"Hi you must be Haley, my dads told me all about you and your family." The blue eyed god said.
"Yep, nice to meet you, come inside."
"Hi im Lucas, Nathans older brother" the blonde lanky boy said.
"And im Deb and this is Dan" Deb said with a smile
"Nice to meet you all." I said
"Dan, great to see you mate, its been too long!" My dad Keith said."I see you have met my daughter Haley already, this is my other daughter Brooke." Pointing to my brunette sister.
"Hi" said Brooke
Even then you could see the attraction in Brookes eyes for Lucas and look where they are now. That night was one of the best nights of my life, but how was I supposed to know that when the week was over I would be dating the hottest boy alive.
" So Haley, what are you into" Nathan asked
"oh you know the usual, music cheerleading, Brookes the cheer nazi!"" Do you play any sports"
"yeh Basketball, do you guys have a good team here?'
"Deffiently, actually there is a party at one of the players house on Saturday night, you and Lucas should come along with me and Brooke."
"Yeh that would be great"
"It will give you guys a chance to meet the guys, they are all really nice, they are actually looking for two new players so perfect timing!"
" That is awesome, so I take it you are going out with a player on the team."
" No actually, they are all like my brothers, we are just friends."
" oh good"
"good?"
" oh shit, oh all I meant is that I would like to get to know you better"
" hehe, yeh id like that"
"Guys dinner" dad called.
