I love this movie so much! XD It's so good!
I've wanted to write one for awhile, so here's the first. I might write more later, idk yet. But I really liked this idea, so I just had to write it. ;) Please leave a review!
Thunder rumbled in the distance.
"Oh, no…" Hiccup moaned.
And then it began: a torrential downpour of rain. It fell in waves, instantly soaking Hiccup's clothes, and making his hair stick to his face. Even with Toothless's superior vision, it would be unable to navigate their way home in such heavy a deluge.
Sighing, Hiccup plopped down on the saturated grass, arms crossed against the cold. Toothless curled up beside him. He wasn't as bothered by the rain, because the drops merely glanced off his water-tight scales. But Hiccup was already shivering violently.
"I g-g-g-guess we c-c-could have chosen a b-b-b-better time…" then he stopped, unable to continue because his teeth chattered so badly.
Abruptly, a great black wing extended out above his head like a canopy, protecting him from the rain. Hiccup sighed and drew closer to Toothless.
"Th-thanks, bud," he said, leaning against the dragon's torso for warmth. Slowly, heat spread throughout his body, easing his tremors. Toothless purred softly in his throat, and they were still, waiting out the rain.
