Chapter One
Armed and Dangerous
Aj looked at his hands, front to back in a constant gaze. He looked over his shoulder at his friends, Kevin, Kylie and Levi. He and his friends weren't known to the world, not yet and they wanted to keep it that way. Aj sighed and closed his hands balling them up, black electric currents surged through his hand a little before he looked up at Kylie's touch. "Come on its gonna rain…" she said softly with a smile to the quiet boy.
Aj nodded and stood up following her as they walked into the abandoned building. "So…. What are we going to do for food tonight….?" Kevin asked. Levi scratched his head, "Umm… steal it as always, but Kevin don't use your powers this time, you almost got us caught the last time…." he reminded him, remembering the shop was burned to a crisp.
"Sorry I got a little anxious…. And the guy scared me…" Kevin grumbled, Levi and the others chuckled softly at this. "Good thing I dropped a thing of matches there so they didn't think something else…." Levi said with a cheese smile. Kylie shook her head and smacked him in the back of the head softly, "Still isn't good…." She said to him mumbling softly.
Levi gave a nervous smile, "What if the supers find out about our powers….?" Kylie said narrowing her eyes a little, "Forget them what if the villains find out, their gonna try and recruit us or force us to work for them…." Kevin said to this statement. Aj stayed silent and just listened to them, they were right after all, what if either side found out it would be a lose when situation either way.
"Either way one side will find out, and I don't want to go up against super man…." Levi said with a sigh pushing up his glasses. "Lets try not to think about it right now and think about getting something to eat…." Aj finally spoke up. They looked at him and smiled, "Your right…." Kevin said with a smug smirk on his face. Kylie smiled and patted his shoulder softly, "If any one catches a cold from the rain, steal your own cough medicine…." Levi said as they walked out of the cover of the building and into the cool wet air.
