The Alex and Charlie Gig

Alex's POV

"Charlie?" I called, as I made his way towards the bathroom of their shared apartment.

"Yeah?" Charlie called back, from the bathroom.

"Could you hurry up? We need to get to the gig soon." I shouted to him.

"Oh, right yeah" he called back, in his adorable Bath accent.

He got out of the bathroom, naked apart from the white cotton towel around his waist.

I looked away, trying to hide the obvious bulge in my pants.

Charlie went into his room so I went into the bathroom to take care of some business.

When I got out, I saw Charlie sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"Where've you been, mate?" he asked me.

"Just taking a slash. You ready to go?" I stuttered.

He grinned at me, that incredible smile that always makes me smile back, no matter how bad a mood I'm in.

"Sure am" he replied, standing up and stretching, his t-shirt pulling up, revealing his gorgeous toned stomach.

I pretended not to notice and we left for the gig.

Tom and Edd were waiting for us when we got there.

Sons of Admirals would be performing first so we all began to set up the instruments.

Charlie was unzipping his guitar case.

As he reached the bottom, his ass was right up in the air.

I couldn't take my eyes off him.

Suddenly he turned around and saw me.

"Alex, were you just checking out my ass?" he asked me.

"What? No way, Charlie. I was.. I was just checking if you were ready to practice." I stated.

"You haven't even opened your guitar case, Alex. Are you.. Are you really gay?" he asked, more curious than ever.

"No, Charlie. I'm straight. Fully straight. Girls all the way." I spat, turning a bit red.

"Oh right.. Shame, 'cause I am. But if you're not, then.."

"No, wait, I am. Wait, you are?"

"Well, behind closed doors. No sense disappointing the fans. Imagine how many views we'd lose from all the girls wanting to get in our pants."

I smirked at Charlie and asked him, "So, why didn't you ever say anything?"

"Well, you're taller. I figured you'd be the guy in the relationship and ask me out." he smiled.

I laughed at him wanting to be the girl in the relationship and asked, "So, do you want to go out sometime?"

"Yes, Alex. I would love to." Charlie laughed and kissed me.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?" someone shouted.

Charlie and I pulled apart and turned around.

"Tom!" we screamed unanimously.

"What the hell, guys? How long has this been going on for?" Tom asked, shocked.

"It hasn't. I mean, tonight's the first time we've admitted our feelings for each other." Charlie answered.

"Okay," Tom sighed, "but you could've picked a better night. We need to play. Get out here!"

We played our best ever, with Tom basically pretending nothing had happened.

After the gig, we all told Edd what had happened.

He was okay with it, and we all promised to keep it a secret.

Now, Charlie and I are really happy together, with no problems hiding our feelings for each other in public.

So our secret stays safe, yet we're together, forever.
